Passover: Blood in the Sky

From a weather-point of view, this is the time of the year that the seasons are changing.

From a planetary point of view, we are experiencing a total solar eclipse and a lunar eclipse within a short space of time.

From a spiritual point of view, this is the period that Jesus confronted death when He died and rose again.

This is also the time that we celebrate Israelites’ story of freedom from bondage in Egypt.

The Passover is a remarkable story of a historic transition from slavery to freedom.

On the night of the Exodus, the Israelites were instructed to kill an animal and put the blood on their doorpost.

It coincides with the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, as we celebrate Good Friday and Resurrection Sunday.

His blood was shed for us on a Good Friday and after 3 days, He rose from the dead.

He became our “Door.”

April 4, 2015 is a full moon, a lunar eclipse. This full moon is also a Bloodmoon. Interestingly, it falls over the 8 days of the celebration of the Jewish Passover, which is from April 3- April 11.

Isn’t it astonishing that we now have a “Bloodmoon” right during the Passover season and also as we remember the blood of Christ that was shed for our salvation?

Full moons bring about a culmination, a completion or ending.

Today’s news headlines are chock full with many things coming to fullness: the intolerance of racial segregation, the tumultuous religious crisis, unjust governments getting exposed, the plight of the vulnerable-especially women and children, and many more.

Even the technology and systems that we have trusted are suddenly showing weakness: missing planes, crashes, leaked passwords or high-profile confidential information, and the list goes on.

Last year, one of the prophetic downloads that came to me was:

“The old is crumbling, the new is crowning.”

There is a global transition taking place…

The moon is usually a time marker.

The time has come, and it’s bloody time for change!

Deliverance is here.

The baby is being “delivered.”

The baby is coming out of the birth canal in this new season.

What we see happening on a global level is also a mirror of what is happening on a personal level.

I know from many conversations and communication that several of people are currently going through a personal battle. There is urgency for a breakthrough, deliverance, or a supernatural miracle.

My sense for this season is that:

It doesn’t matter how long the matter has been “pending;” it’s time for it to be resolved.

It doesn’t matter how intense the flames have been; the rain of heaven will fall and extinguish the fires of affliction.

It doesn’t matter how long you have been searching; the answer is about to show up.

It doesn’t matter how many times you have been denied or rejected; there is a door opening for you.

The tides of change may have risen to an all-time high; it’s time for you to ride the wave.

You may have been emotionally overwhelmed or stretched to the limit; you are emerging with a new song.

You may have been going through some shaking, the season ahead will bring about the final “settling.”

This is the season of expecting the “unexpected.”

God is settling the scores. Your Case is being settled in the Heavenlies.

It’s time to let go of the pain, the fear, the questions, the old systems, the old habits, the old spiritual rot, the old mindset, and the outdated limiting beliefs.

The solar Eclipse of March 20 was an invitation for

A SYSTEM REBOOT.

Now, the full moon of April 4 is calling you to a RESTART.

Time to step forth into the UNKNOWN.

You are now being released to begin a new chapter.

Isaiah 43:18-19:

Do not call to mind the former things, or ponder things of the past. “Behold, I will do something new, now it will spring forth; will you not be aware of it? I will even make a roadway in the wilderness, Rivers in the desert.

When you come to the end of your road, be rest assured that a new path is emerging for you.

Keep moving forward in faith, you will not fall.

Wishing you a Great Passover and Celebration of the Death and Resurrection of christ.
